About Me

From that inventory you’d get a decent picture: I like comfort, objects with a story, familiar landscapes, and documenting people as they actually are. I photograph humans, the places they exist in, and the life they build. My work spans families, wild landscapes, and documentary photography—but it’s all rooted in the same thing: showing what’s actually there.

The through-line is simple: observe. capture. create. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, welcome—please exit through the gift shop :)

If my life were a museum, you’d exit through a gift shop stocked with cameras, my collection of hourglasses, T-shirts with my dogs’ faces, magnets with pictures of my family, the coziest blankets, pajamas and robes, McCarty’s pottery, vintage china, crystals I’ve dug up myself, hydrangeas, Votivo Red Currant candles, Dr. Pepper, cheese dip, pickles, puzzles, Wordle, a curation of the best thrift store finds, anything to do with the mountains that have my heart, and—because my other career is medical sales—regenerative medicine collateral and a pile of scrubs.
