Photography Rooted
in Real Life
The process behind my
work is simple
Observe what is already there.
Capture the moment before it disappears.
Create something lasting from it.

Photography, at its best, is not about inventing a story. It is about noticing one that already exists.

Observe
Before anything is photographed, it is observed. The light, the landscape, the expressions, and the subtle moments that happen naturally all come together to form the beginning of the story.

Capture
Once the moment reveals itself, the next step is to capture it before it disappears. Photography is about timing, instinct, and patience. A glance, a shift in light, a quiet interaction between people. These moments pass quickly, but through the lens they can be preserved exactly as they happened.
Every photograph starts
with a conversation
The best photographs usually begin with something simple: an idea, a place, or a moment you want to remember. If you think we might be a good fit, reach out. Share a little about what you are hoping to capture and when you are thinking about scheduling. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
